The Zebra P420 plastic card printer is highly versatile, and
designed for high volume printing of dual-sided plastic photo Id cards
in color. Use the P420 card printer to print:
Employee ID, Time and Attendance cards, Gift Cards,
Student ID badges and Facilities Access Control cards
Club Membership, Proximity and Loyalty cards
We offer card design software from Number 5 Software to
make card printing easier. Card Five offers basic design software and
professional packages with camera and accessories.
The P420's rugged, all metal enclosure houses a low-maintenance print mechanism that includes self-cleaning
card handling, high capacity ribbon system, two-line LCD
control panel, and convenient card reject hopper. The reject hopper separates cards that fail encoding prior to printing,
saving valuable printer ribbon. The enclosure includes a viewing window to monitor the printing process without
opening the unit. Transparent input and output hoppers provide visual card capacity status.

The P420 is easy to load and use; the operator control panel
displays printer status and functions that guide the operator,

Printer ribbon synchronization is automatic, eliminating the
need for operator intervention. A self-cleaning cartridge

Image Quality
The image quality of plastic cards produced with digital
printing technology is far superior to those produced through
the traditional manual method described above. The cards
look better because digitized photo images are sharper and
can be edited for color quality. Placement of various
graphical elements of the card is more consistent and text is
clearer and more readable.
Flexibility
Plastic card printers can print text, line art, and photographic
images. They can also encode magnetic stripes and provide
smart card chip programming contact stations. All in a single
step process. Card design software used to produce the
cards provides users the flexibility to change designs, store
and access multiple designs, create variable text fields, and
implement data base programs to store images and track
information.

Security
Plastic card printers can also apply various types of card
protection materials to make cards resistant to tampering
