HDP 5000 YMCKH Full-color with resin black and heat seal panel will print Approximately 500 images. This ribbon has 5 panels, yellow, magenta, cyan, black, and a heat seal panel. The colored panels allow for this printer to give you the full spectrum of colors just like a laser jet printer. This ribbon also take it one step further, providing a heat sealing panel to help the retransfer film adhere to the PVC cards. This is ideal for cards that don't have a consistent smooth surface such as smart cards. The ribbon is compatible with the HDP5000 and HDPii ID badge printers. These printers utilize the revolutionary retransfer printing to give true edge to edge printing.

Specially formulated HDP dye-sublimation ribbons print full-color images onto the underside of clear HDP Film. The HDP Film is then transferred to the card through heat and pressure. HDP printing is a complex, revolutionary technology.
